The 61st edition of the M-11 Mousquiri National Tournament will take place from February 2 to 15 at the P.-E.-Lefebvre Arena in Richmond.
A total of 52 teams will compete in 99 scheduled games, a record number in the history of the tournament. The event will welcome 20 double-letter teams in the AA and BB divisions, as well as 32 teams competing in the A, B, and C divisions. All games will be played at the Richmond arena, with the exception of five games that will be held in Windsor on February 6 and 14, due to an especially tight schedule, particularly on weekends.
The tournament format remains unchanged from previous years, with all registered teams guaranteed a minimum of three games. This popular format also explains why the tournament cannot accommodate a larger number of teams.
As tradition dictates, team diversity remains a key element of the tournament. Teams from several regions of Québec will be represented, including Estrie, Bois-Francs, Centre-du-Québec, Mauricie, Lac-Saint-Louis, Montérégie, Richelieu, Québec City, Montréal, Outaouais, and Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean. The tournament will also welcome a team from Ontario.
This 61st edition will be held under the honorary presidency of Jonathan Raymond, a senior baseball player from Richmond and a new member of the Brock de Drummondville. He brings five years of experience in the Québec Major Baseball League, all of which were spent with the Sherbrooke Expos.
As in previous years, the tournament finals will be played on both Sundays of the event. On the first Sunday, February 8, the Class B final will take place at 5:30 p.m., followed by the Class BB final at 6:50 p.m. The remaining three finals will be held on the final Sunday, February 15: Class C at 3:00 p.m., Class A at 4:20 p.m., and Class AA at 5:40 p.m.
It should be noted that during the 2025 edition of the tournament, the championship teams were the Mariniers de Sorel-Tracy in Class C; the Phoenix (3) of Sherbrooke in Class B; the Wild Desjardins of Richmond-Windsor in Class A; the Stars of New England (New Hampshire) in Class BB; and the Vikings of Beauce-Appalaches Ouest in Class AA.
